I have been a ham for almost 50 years. I also worked in computers for approximately 40 years. Never have I come across such a valuable program as RFinder.

If you are still using a book to find a repeater near you then you are working in the Stone Age. RFinder uses your GPS location on your phone to get you all the repeaters and everything about them very quickly so you can get them into your radio.

Functionally, it is truly amazing how quick it is to learn the program and see its incredible value if you are a VHF operator and heavily use repeaters.

They have also added a routing function which allows you to plan a route and then gives you the ability to see every repeater and everything about those repeaters along the route which could cross the entire United States if you wanted. I believe that this program is one of the biggest breakthroughs in this type of technology for a ham radio operator.

The routing function can then be exported and using either RT systems integration or any integration that you use to get the repeaters into your radio. This alone saves countless hours and everything is perfect.

I cannot give this anything other than a five star plus plus plus review as it is truly an outstanding piece of software. I would suggest you just buy it and use it and it will be the best investment you ever made in my opinion as a ham operator using VHF repeaters.
