Very Useful App

The best repeater app out here. Sure beats using repeater books on the road. Great customer service too!

Scotland Works!!

There are events in our lives, over which we have no control. My most recent occurred in September. Our children gave us an all expenses paid trip to Scotland in observance of our 40th Wedding anniversary. So...like any ham would do, I charged my HT and headed for Scotland (with my wife). What a pleasure it was to have the RFinder WW Repeater Directory on my IPad. From Edinburgh to Perth, Glasgow, and Inverness, there was full access to all of the repeater data I needed. Thank you, Bob, for a terrific program and at a very reasonable price.

good start but needs improvement

Repeater data can be downloaded and viewed offline/airplane mode but theres no intuitive way to browse though them and the map will not work. Lots of features break unless youre online. If youre truly off the grid then you need this to work properly offline. For the same price you can get a hard copy of the repeater directory which does work offline very well. Cant save favorties either.

Great app

really like the app especially the integration with programmers. Only other thing Id like to see is linked systems somehow specifed. Developer is very responsive and quick to answer questions.

Great App & Customer Service

Purchased App for iOS and Droid both by not following directions. Ben quickly resolved my error. Looking forward to the new functionalities.

Good Program and Great Customer Service

Just downloaded the program, I use chirp and RT Systems software. RFinder integrates with both and works well. So far so good. Customer Service is excellent within 5 minutes of sending an email, I had a response and how to fix my mistake... You cant beat that...

Needs a lot updating

I downloaded the APP and subscribe to web based dateabase. In my area I found a lot repeaters that are no longer on the air. It does not list the transmit CTCSS for repeaters that transmitt the tone. When I am programming my radios for mobile travel/vacations I like to program only the repeaters which transmit the CTCSS on their output. It appears this APP used an old ARRL database and did not use the databases available on the web from the state or regionals repeater coordinators

Best thing since sliced bread!

This app is great as it is always up to date. Its even better if you have one of the rig applications that interface with it as it can import all the repeaters. Fantastic customer support too! 73s KD8TZC

RT Systems

RFinder works great with RT Systems. However, the updates are not up to date and often omits CTCSS data value making mobile programming for trips unreliable. W2OU

Repeater Directory

Excellent Application!

Great Repeater Finder

I love this app and the support. Great repeater locator and has all the details needed.

Great repeater directory app with great support!

I really appreciate having an app that uses my location to help me find local repeaters. This is easy to use, and the fact that the ARRL recommends it is even better. Plus, Ive gotten great support: I had a subscription renewal issue (my fault, not the developers fault), and when I asked for I help I actually received a phone call in person to work it out. The problem was resolved to my great satisfaction and I enjoyed having the personal level of support. Help support this great program!!!!

Great, fast, and accurate customer support.

Bob and Jesse answered my questions within an hour. Will recommend to my friends and I will keep the subscription active. 73s, de Chris-Wa6cp

Great customer service

Had a question about my subscription, Bob answered in about 30 minutes.

Outstanding app and support

I just had to leave a recommendation about this app and the personal and rapid support that resolved what turned out to be a user error. The repeater data provided by RFinder is the most comprehensive, detailed and accurate information available anywhere.

Good App Bad data

The app works fine. The database used is inaccurate. The club that I am a member of, 2m FM repeater is listed as Dstar as one example. There an many other discrepancies in listings for local repeaters. These errors make me question the usefulness of the app for travelers (the main reason for the app).

Review update

After some concerns and posting a negative review, I got a pleasant email from Bob who made this app. He has been helping solve a couple of issues and hopefully I will have it up and running properly soon. A number of factors could be behind it...my location, etc

App working on both iPhone & iPad

App working well on both units. Logging in was a tiny bit confusing since I did not see anything about using my RAC password to set up account. As for the iPhone I deleted the program and reinstalled and everything worked the 2nd time. I would recommend being selective as to what frequencies you are looking for, if all are active you will get information overload. I’m trying bands one at a time. The other functions are useful (looking up call signs), getting to know what the program can do. App support is excellent and for me it was immediate. I would recommend making the company website a favourite to keep up-to-date on what is happening. de VE3CQU

Expensive for a non functional s/w

I bought this app with the intention of using it in another country. However all I seem to be getting at the moment is a major issue associated with a non functioning GPS. If you have GPS on your device and it is switched off, this app will keep attempting to access the device without even allowing registration. $9.99 for this useless package. I am very unhappy.

Rfinder APP

Excellent product and customer and technical service.
